At Vauvahoiva, we understand how tender and vulnerable the time after birth can be. We believe this is when care, rest, and support matter most — which is why we offer dedicated postpartum services to gently hold and restore the parent after pregnancy.

This three-hour home visit is designed to support the parent with gentle care, guidance, and presence during the early days with a newborn. It’s also a deeply meaningful gift for a new family.
Before each visit, we take time to understand your wishes, needs, and intentions, so the experience feels truly personal.
Care may include a selection of supportive elements (we typically focus on around three per visit), along with a nourishing moment thoughtfully prepared for the parent who has given birth.
A postpartum home visit can include:
Neck and shoulder massage for you
Oxytocin-boosting head massage (to support milk flow)
Breastfeeding support
Emotional support through listening and conversation (birth and early parenthood reflections)
Foot bath and reflexology-based foot massage for you
Reflexology-based baby massage
Spending time with siblings
Extra hands in everyday life (meal prep, holding the baby, grocery help, etc.)
Babycare to support your rest or other needs

Minimum booking time is 2 hours. The duration must be agreed in advance.Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the booking. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged 50% of the agreed service fee, up to a maximum of €100.
